If you are struggling to read as much as you would like, here are a few helpful tricks to try.
It’s time to spring clean your bookshelf! Here is how you can sort through your books to get rid of the ones you won’t read again (and will never reread), and have a beautiful shelf to look at every day.

In your bag, in your car, on a night out, take your book everywhere and you’ll be more tempted to read a few pages while you’re out and about. Try to replace your phone with a book, even if it’s for a few pages while you have a spare minute.
On the subject of phones, if you struggle to not reach for yours when reading, try changing the settings to a black and white colour filter. It will help to make your phone less interesting and encourage you to leave it alone.
Reading becomes much less fun when you’re forcing yourself to read. Committing to only a very small number of pages makes it seem less daunting, once you’re going you’re likely to keep going.
Commit to reading like it’s your part time job, whenever works for you whether it’s 7:30-9am or 30 minutes before bedtime. Work our when works best for you and try and keep to it.
Set yourself a 100 page limit, or even less, for a book to wow you before you put it down. You’ll read a book you love much faster than one you hate.
